The aim of the design of the stand was to express closeness to nature and cooperation. Wooden elements, beautiful birches and a nature photo on the background gave a perception of natural products and the appreciation of environment. The hanging chairs and table were the guests’ favourite pieces of furniture and many guests wished to buy those items. The stand was designed by photographer Kati Vaas.
Stockholm Furniture Fair is the biggest and most prominent furniture fair in the Nordic countries. In this year there were over 650 exhibitors in the fair and averagely 7,500 people visited the fair in a day.
The participants and guests were from all major countries of Western and Eastern Europe.
Pärnu Wood Cluster was more than content with their participation. Being represented among other furniture manufacturers, gave a good overview of the activities of our colleagues and the prevailing trends of the market. Approximately 50 contacts were established during our stay in Stockholm. We continue to specify the jobs and mutual interest after the fair. Interest was shown for very different products — starting from the sawn timber of alder and birch to the manufacturing of design furniture for French and Italian markets.
